they are not stirrups, but hot chilly's (the capalene thermal underwears/na-neen-goo that crazy alaskans wear:)). i was wearing them that day b/c it was like sub-zero degree weather up in mystic (which is where we were all at). i think i just left 'em on before hitting the sack.
