hello from seoul!!!!! so i'm working in korea for the next 6 weeks and i arrived this morning.. so far so good, i'm sitting at my desk trying to figure out what i will be doing.. tis always interesting trying to get acclimated to new surroundings, ya KNOW? janice and i took the subway in from the condo and i'm thinking about getting my hair done this afternoon... aw yeah.

so... anybody have any suggestions on what to do in korea? i'm pretty clueless... WHAT TO DO???? i got 6 weeks! that's a stinkin' long time..

nothing much to report yet, made random small talk with the person sitting next to me on the express shuttle.. he showed me pictures of his family, kept comparing me to his daughter who is an analyst for bloomberg in singapore, told me to call if i'm ever in jakarta.. jakarta? when am i ever gonna be in jakarta? imagine that.

it's saturday in korea and there are so many people in the office right now.. what the... it's SATURDAY people!! i'm gonna try and convince janice to play more on the weekends

i just got back from working out at the gym, still really sore from lifting weights this tuesday, and outta curiosity me and a couple of friends decided to get our fat percentage checked out.  the trainer was WAY overenthusiastic but i guess that comes with the territory.  anyhoo, turns out i'm 31.7% body fat which is clinically obese and not that far from being chronically obese.  GEEEEZ!  time to work out, ya THINK?  i knew it'd be high but that's pretty dang high.  so hopefully this is the kick in the butt i need to start hittin' the gym with some gusto.  and to stop having to write tokhui all those letters (1 a week for every week i don't go to the gym 3 times) i've written 4 outta 8 for the last 3 months.. hehe.  oops.  might be what's causing my CLINICAL OBESITY..

verdict: neither of us should go with the short hair or bangs.. round 2 tomorrow..

i had so much fun this weekend hanging out with the an's and robin and jason (for a day) .. sorry jason for dragging you to napa, AGAIN. but i think you secretly love that place.. deep deep down.

i actually laughed out loud watching this.. have you guys seen this?  b/c i have this tendency to view things months after the rest of the world has seen them.  so if you have, just watch it again, will ya?  and don't give me a hard time about it.. sheesh.  especially if you are my cousin dan.

i ran a 10k in the blazin' heat this past sunday.. well attempted to run. i was decked out in my puma gear with my little nike mp3 player and felt...
like such a poser!  the girl who ran in first said she was intimidated by me, that is, until we started running and i almost fainted from lack of oxygen

roar! or in my case: roahhhhhar.. (yawn in middle of roar).. but it's all in training for the 10k mud run in june which will surely end my life.
but hey, at least my life will end in beautiful san diego!

looking forward to may when the lovely an sisters shall visit with robin hood and jenny cho lee makes a little appearance the week following.. any other takers on visiting the bay area?  i can be nice sometimes..
